I bought this for my hydroponics garden. I have to switch out the water and nutrients every so often and it gets kind of messy. This has made the process so much easier. Instead of having to lift the bucket to dump it out, I can use this to siphon it out into another bucket. It works equally well for large or small volumes. The battery life is great and I haven't even needed to change them yet. I plan to buy another one for our rv.
Not the case with this brand!! It transfers the water quickly, it's sturdy & solid & it's kept on working despite my heavy use. It comes with a bonus feature too! You can choose from two different battery sizes to use so if you don't have one size handy, you can use the other!
