I like this little gadget for up close photos. It’s irritating the magnetic piece means I have to take my phone case apart to use it and with my small hands it means I have nothing on the back to help hold my phone. The magnetic piece is very strong and doesn’t slide a bit.
I LOVE this compact selfie light! It's incredibly convenient to take on the go either in your pocket or still magnetically attached to the back of your phone. The best part of this light is its extension feature, which transforms it into a pretty versatile tool. Not only does it serve as a phone stand, but it also allows you to adjust the angle of the light. Personally, I've even found it handy as a laptop light by simply draping it over the screen. Remember Tyra Banks' iconic advice to "find your light"? Well, ULANZI's latest product really just said "I got you fam" and took it a step further.
This light is very portable (not heavy, compact) and fairly easy to figure out. The telescopic stick is especially cool, but the magnet and included ring don't work with my iPhone 12 mini in its non-magnetic case. The aforementioned included ring is meant to attach to your phone under a non-magnetic case making it work with the base of the light. But if you have a magnetic phone case and want a light to take on the go, this is a decent option. It has three light temperatures and a range of levels of intensity. You can create several color temps using the dial or stick to the three set ones with the button if you don't want to deal with variations for continuity or other reasons. (I, personally, find too many options stressful.) The light isn't very intense even at its highest, but given its size it does a fairly good job of making you look better.
Selfies aren't really my thing but photography is. This is a great addition to my Ulanzi phone grip! It holds a charge forever and is incredibly simple to use. The button on the top is the power button and can also be clicked to cycle through the three preset temperature modes, one of the dials is to infinitely adjust the temperature and the other dial adjusts the brightness. The magnet is incredibly strong and type c charging port is great. Definitely recommend this light!
This product has worked amazingly well for me. The quality is excellent, the light is bright, clear, and very even. I’ve used it for recording videos, taking selfies, and even for video calls in low-light places, and it always helps. It’s compact, practical, and really useful for everyday use. Definitely worth it it exceeded my expectations
This came well packaged as other ulanzi products. This phone selfie light is something special. It sticks to the iPhone using the MagSafe magnetic suction. Also there was a magnetic ring/strip provided that can go on any phone or even older iPhones so it’s not restricted only to iPhones with MagSafe. The light can work both ways while shooting with the main cameras or the selfie camera. It pops up so it can fill light for a selfie shot. What a brilliant idea. There is a power switch to power it on/off. There is a usb-c port for charging. Unfortunately there is no charging cable or adapter provided. If it does this item would have been terrific. It has two rotary adjustment one for color temperature and one for the brightness. Both work well. Overall this is a great and elegant lighting solution for phone photography and videography.
This ULANZI magnetic LED selfie ring light is the perfect light for your cell phone and works best with a magsafe phone case (it also comes with a metal ring with adhesive to stick to a phone case but would need to be a perfectly flat case). The light is bright with variable controls for brightness and color temperature. It charges with USB-C (charger and cable NOT included) and fits in your pocket with ease. The light is solid, (but lightweight) made and designed well, and can point forward or backwards plus rotate and extend out for portrait orientation. The light is even its own stand so you can just set it on a table or attach it to any magnetic metal. For the price this little ring light is a great deal.
